
Olivier Nicod is a partner at Walder Wyss. His expertise focuses mainly on corporate law and regulatory matters, in particular wealth management and money laundering issues. He regularly advises corporate clients in M&A transactions and in financial transactions as well as private clients in the succession and transfer of their businesses. He is involved in enforcement proceedings before the regulators and, in his fields of expertise, he also represents his clients in litigations.
He is member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Vice-President of the Lausanne Branch. He is also Finance Director of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) and member of the Board of the Self-Regulatory Organization of the Swiss Federation of Attorneys and Swiss Federation of Notaries (SRO SAV/SNV).
Olivier Nicod has completed a CAS in Financial Regulations with the University of Geneva and holds a LL.M. in Corporate Law of New York University School of Law (NYU).
Olivier Nicod is fluent in French and English. He is admitted to practice in all Switzerland as well as in New York.
